In response to the mental health crisis impacting young people throughout Australia, the Perth YCW organised free Mental Health First Aid training for 15 young leaders and activists in September 2018. The training was funded by a grant from the Knights of the Southern Cross.
Building healthy communities of young people in Adelaide is one of the objectives of YCW Adelaide. Social activities, hiking, movie, nights and volunteering in community activities have been organised to promote meaningful connections and mental wellbeing.
