In July 2008 young people from all over the world converged in Sydney for a massive celebration of friendship and faith. During that week and over the last two years, Australian Young Christian Students and Young Christian Workers have been right in the midst of the action - and the journey's not over yet!

OUR DREAM
YCS and YCW 's vision for WYD08 is to:
- Witness to the lives of young people and the Gospel call to action
- Engage young people in YCS and YCW
- Form young people before and beyond WYD08 to create real personal and social change
- Build solidarity with students and workers around the globe

OUR ACTION
To make this dream a reality YCS and YCW have been taking action throughout Australia through local events and pilgrim groups. We've also been hugely active on a national level - check out our activities below, and find out where to next!

Resources
YCS and YCW have created a range of resources to help young people and those working with them get ready for WYD08. Hundreds of parishes, schools and communities around Australia are using these materials to make sure WYD08 is a meaningful experience that changes young people's lives and communities.

WYD08 Youth Festival in Sydney
YCS and YCW were on the scene during WYD Week, with events and activities that challenged pilgrims and gave them a space to speak.
